Cheyenne, Wyoming is conveniently located at the intersection of I-25 (North/South) and I-80 (East/West). The Rainsford Inn is located in the Rainsford Historic District in lower downtown Cheyenne.

From I-25, take I-80 East. Take exit 362, for Central Avenue/Greeley Highway. Go North on Central Avenue towards downtown Cheyenne. Note that Central Avenue will split into two one-way streets as it goes over the Union Pacific Railyard. (Central Avenue is the Southbound lane, and Warren Avenue the Northbound lane.) Continue to travel on what has become Warren Avenue, until you come to 18th Street, two blocks from the end of the overpass. Turn right on 18th Street.

The Rainsford Inn is at the end of the first block on the right-hand side, 219 East 18th Street. This is the corner of 18th Street and House Avenue). There is off-street parking on the House Avenue side of the Inn.
